External Walls
There are several options for the thermal insulation of external walls with mineral wool thermal insulation materials depending on the wall design.
The vapour permeability, the density, and the layer detachment strength are important performance indicators for a thermal insulation materials used for the thermal insulation of façades in addition to the thermal conductivity performance. Usually, materials with the density over 75 kg/m³ with the layer detachment strength of at least 15 kN/m ² are used. The thermal insulation materials based on basalt fibres fit these performance indicators best.

- Ventilated facades: FRN, FRE, FRK
- Plastered external walls: FKD, FKL
- Three-layered walls (cavity wall): FRE, FRN
- Frame structures (wooden houses): Thermo Double Roll 040, Thermo Slab 037
- Sandwich panels: TS 100, TSS 110, TS 120
