Description 

Knauf Insulation WM 640 GG/WM 660 GG (R-PPD) rolled thermal insulation material is made of the mineral fibre bound with the synthetic resin. It is broached with the zinc-coated mesh. The water repellent agent is applied across the entire cross-section of the material.

Application

Knauf Insulation WM 640 GG/WM 660 GG (R-PPD) roll is intended for the thermal, acoustic and fire insulation of technical structures, equipment, piping, boilers, chimneys and tanks. The maximum temperature is 620oC.

Knauf Insulation WM 640 GG/WM 660 GG (R-PPD):

  • distinguished by the increased compressive strength and preserves its standard thickness when compressed;
  • it is micro-organism and rodent-resistant;
  • is chemically neutral: it does not increase the corrosivity in case of the direct contact with metal;
  • is adapted easily to structures of various shapes;
  • the ultimate positive temperature of surfaces to be insulated is 650 degrees Centigrade (in terms of the thermal stability of the mineral wool layer);
  • it can be easily processed to any size;
  • the aluminium foil acts as a protective and reflective layer;
  • it requires protection against the mechanical and atmospheric impact in the course of the transportation, warehousing and installation.
