Stone wool insulation (also known as rock mineral wool) - is a basalt fiber material, which is produced from silicate alloy of rock, metallurgical slag and its mix.

Material demonstrate excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, fire resistance properties. In addition, material is chemically resistant, waterproof, has high vapor permeability, do not decay and prevent growth of micro organisms and insects.

Nobasil finds its way into thousands of residential and commercial buildings as well as into industrial and OEM applications (such as sandwich-panels etc).

Knauf Insulation DDP-K (SPK) Knauf Insulation DDP-K (SPK) slabs are made of the mineral wool on a synthetic binding agent with a water-repellent additive across the whole cross-section.It is applied as the bottom layer in two-layered flat roof thermal insulation systems. Knauf Insulation DDP-RT (SPE) The Knauf Insulation DDP-RT (SPE) slab is made of the mineral fibre bound with the synthetic resin with the enhanced water repellent agent application across the entire cross-section. Knauf Insulation SPN Knauf Insulation SPN slab is made of the mineral wool bound with synthetic resin with a water-repellent additive across the entire cross-section. Knauf Insulation DDP (SPS) The Knauf Insulation DDP (SPS) slab is made of the mineral fibre bound with the synthetic binding agent with the enhanced water repellent agent application across the entire cross-section. Knauf Insulation SAE Knauf Insulation SAE slabs are made from Nobasil SPE slabs with an outer 2-3 mm thick asphalt layer. The asphalt layer is protected with microfilm, which is burnt away in the course of the installation. Knauf Insulation SAS Knauf Insulation SAS slab is provided with the asphalt layer with the minimum thickness of 2 to 3 mm. Knauf Insulation FRN Knauf Insulation FRN slab is made of the mineral wool bound with synthetic resin with the water-agent applied across the entire cross-section. Knauf Insulation FRE Knauf Insulation FRE slab is made of the mineral wool bound with synthetic resin with the water-agent applied across the entire cross-section.It is used for the thermal, acoustic and fire insulation in three-layered walls. Knauf Insulation FRK The Knauf Insulation FRK slab is made of mineral wool on a synthetic binding agent with the enhanced application of the water repellent additive across the entire cross section; these slabs are additionally matted with the white or black glass-fibre mat. It is used as the thermal insulation of ventilation ducts.
